The Association is run by up to 13 postgraduate student volunteers. There are frequently vacancies on the Executive, as postgrads come and go throughout the year, so if you are interested in joining please contact us!
This is a great opportunity to understand university structure and contribute towards improving the postgraduate study environment and conditions at university. Find out about student representation.
The VUW PGSA regular postgraduate breakfast socials happen most Friday mornings at one of the university’s three main campuses between 9.00 a.m. and 10.30 a.m. Come and meet your postgraduate friends, colleagues and collaborators old and new and enjoy a hot or cold drink on your association.
All postgraduates are welcome at all breakfast socials, no matter which campus your faculty is based at. You’re welcome to bring postgraduate friends and colleagues from other universities along, they just need a Vic “chaperone”. You can join and leave the socials at any time, you don’t need to arrive at 9.00 a.m. nor stay till 10.30 a.m., and you’re welcome to arrive before or stay after the “official” breakfast social times to chat, eat, write, study etc. Our only requirement is, it’s a social, so be social! Do chat to someone you’ve not met before.
